Needlepoint Ornaments I’ve Stitched This Year

Needlepoint ornaments are some of my favorite projects to work on. They’re small, fun, and a perfect way to capture memories, hobbies, travels, and even favorite foods in stitches. This year I’ve been steadily stitching my way through a growing collection of unique needlepoint ornaments, and I’m excited to share them here with you.

Ohio State Needlepoint Ornaments
I kicked off the year with three Ohio State new needlepoint ornaments. Whether you’re a college sports fan or just love adding a personal touch to your Christmas tree, these ornaments are a great way to show team spirit.
I had fun experimenting with different stitches to bring out the bold reds, grays, and iconic logos that make Ohio State instantly recognizable.
Travel Needlepoint Ornaments
One of the reasons I love stitching needlepoint ornaments is that they can double as little memory-keepers from trips. This year, I stitched several travel-themed ornaments:

New York – A classic New York ornament to remember time spent in the city that never sleeps.
These pieces aren’t just pretty, they’re tiny keepsakes I can pull out every year and hang on the tree, instantly sparking memories of where I’ve been.
Food-Themed Needlepoint Ornaments
Food and needlepoint? Yes, please! Some of my favorite projects this year have been food-inspired ornaments. These are fun, playful, and always conversation starters:
Big Red gum – A nostalgic nod to this classic candy.
Crumbl Cookies – Who doesn’t love a sweet Crumbl treat? This ornament is a favorite!
Sweet’N Low – A quirky little design inspired by the iconic pink packet.
Other Fun Needlepoint Ornaments
Of course, my stitching list doesn’t stop there. I’ve been working on a variety of other needlepoint ornament designs, including:
A cowboy boot – Western flair in a mini size.
A cat ornament – Because every tree needs a little feline personality.
