Thanksgiving Family Style Table Setting. Simple linens, classic dishes, & candlelight. The perfect pieces for a beautiful Thanksgiving table.
Hello Love!
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s so hard to believe that this yummy day is already upon us and the fall season is almost over. We are currently in Nashville celebrating the holiday with extended family but I wanted to share my family-style table setting that I used for my immediate family’s get-together this past Sunday.
Since I knew we were going to spend the holiday out of town, I kept the decor very simple and used pieces I already owned to keep costs down. The only new things I added were my new fall table runner from TJ Maxx and these wooden cutouts that I snagged on Amazon. They came unstained so I grabbed some Folk Art acrylic paint in the color Iced Coffee and applied two coats to make them a fun coordinating color. I think they may be my favorite part of the table.
The white dishes are my everyday dishes I got for my wedding and after many of the pieces were retired last year, I went on eBay and Facebook Marketplace and bought everything I was missing. I bought everything from platters, casserole dishes, bowls and stemware. eBay and Facebook Marketplace are great places to find older items.
I’ve been using my woven placemats and galvanized metal chargers for years. They’re classic pieces that I use in almost all my tablescapes.
