Inexpensive Hostess Gift. For under $10 a piece, you can make these in minutes and have them on hand for your next get-together.
Hello Love!
I mean, come on. How stinking cute are these quick and easy hostess gifts?
I don’t know about you but I feel like these are kind of a dying thing. Does anyone take hostess gifts to anyone’s house anymore?
My high school girlfriends and I have started going to dinner about once a month and it usually takes place at a restaurant. There have been times though that we’ve visited each other’s homes and I thought I should make up some little gifts to have on hand when they pop up.
When thinking of what could be something I could batch all at one time but be something everyone can use, what better than to start with a dish towel? Everybody uses them and they can be really inexpensive to purchase. I grabbed THIS SET of 12 farmhouse dish towels for under $18. Such a deal, right?
Next up, I went to my local Hobby Lobby to look for accent pieces. I was able to snag this bit of plastic greenery and all these fun kitchen knick-knacks for 50% off!
For under $50 I got everything I needed and had 8 extra dish towels to keep for more projects or use in my own kitchen.
To assemble each gift, I just matched up accessories that I thought would pair well together and tied them all up with a bit of jute twine that I had on hand from other projects.
So easy, cute, and inexpensive!
