Bedroom Electric Fireplace with Shiplap Fireplace Surround. Thanks Phi Villa for sponsoring this DIY project!
We had so much fun creating this bedroom electric fireplace and mantel for our bedroom with our dear friends at Phi Villa. Be sure to check out our back porch update blog post, also featuring Phi Villa!
Hello Love! Wintertime is here and we’re getting our home prepared for the frigid temps that will be upon us soon. We have a fireplace in our living room that helps make it all warm & cozy this time of year. It’s so great to turn on the TV, grab a cozy blanket and snuggle up in front of the fire.
Our master bedroom is located in the back corner of our home, furthest away from our heat pump, which means, it’s often a lot colder than the rest of the house. For years we talked about adding another gas fireplace to our bedroom but knew it was going to cost us a chunk of change and take up a lot of room in our bedroom.
Then, my friend dear friend Bonnie from Phi Villa reached out about working with us on another collaboration.
You may remember that we worked with Phi Villa a few months ago ON THIS PROJECT and we had a blast working with them on that collaboration. This time, they wanted us to help promote their new electric fireplaces.
We picked out the fireplace insert and started planning the mantel.
After a few trips to Home Depot to get lumber, shiplap, and paint, Jas got to work.
After about a day and a half of labor, it was complete! Doesn’t it look terrific?! Jas did such a great job building the surround and the electric fireplace is everything we wanted.
This electric fireplace insert comes with a ton of different features. The flames change colors and sizes, there’s LED backlighting, and it’s all remote-controlled. The fireplace can be inserted into a wall, mounted, or can be free-standing on a platform.
